**Dr. Pech Chanmony Honors Fallen Heroes Sacrificed for Territorial Integrity in Kampong Chhnang**
**(Kampong Chhnang Province):** On the morning of March 9, 2026, Dr. Pech Chanmony led a delegation to pay her final respects and express her deepest condolences to the fallen soldiers who reportedly sacrificed their lives on the battlefield in defense of Cambodia’s territorial integrity.
During this solemn occasion, Dr. Pech Chanmony conveyed the heartfelt sympathies and messages of solidarity from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, as well as from Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, to the bereaved families. According to official sources, the nation’s top leadership expressed their profound gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice made by these heroes to ensure the peace and sovereignty of the motherland.
In addition to honoring the fallen, Dr. Pech Chanmony also delivered significant donations on behalf of the Prime Minister and herself to support the families’ daily livelihoods. The assistance package included financial aid, essential consumer goods, food supplies, and other necessary items to alleviate the hardships faced by the families during this difficult time.
Dr. Pech Chanmony remarked that the loss of these soldiers represents a significant sacrifice of the nation’s valuable human resources and a devastating loss for their families. She emphasized that the Royal Government remains steadfast in its commitment to the welfare of military families, particularly those of fallen heroes, ensuring that their contributions to the nation are forever honored and that they are never left behind.
