Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation to the United States to participate in the Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Peace. Scheduled for 19 February 2026 at the Donald J. Trump U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., the meeting signifies the formal initiation of the Board’s crucial mandate, established under the framework of the United Nations Security Council Resolution adopted on 17 November 2025. This initiative is primarily dedicated to promoting sustainable peace and advancing humanitarian reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

The Prime Minister’s participation underscores Cambodia’s steadfast commitment to multilateralism and its active role in contributing to international security and post-conflict recovery, in alignment with the fundamental principles enshrined in the UN Charter. The session will feature comprehensive discussions among participating leaders regarding critical aspects of regional and global peace, stability, and mutual economic development. During the Washington visit, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet is scheduled to hold key bilateral meetings with U.S. dignitaries and leaders from various nations.
