**US Central Command Reports Crash of KC-135 Stratotanker in Western Iraq**
**(BAGHDAD):** U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that it is aware of an incident involving the “loss” of a U.S. KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft during military operations in the region. The statement was released late Thursday night following the onset of the incident.
According to the command, the mishap occurred within friendly airspace during ongoing operations against Iran, known as “Epic Fury.” Preliminary reports indicate that two aircraft were involved in the incident; one reportedly crashed in western Iraq, while the second aircraft successfully conducted a safe landing.
