រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា នៅថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ បានបញ្ជាក់អំពីការបន្តយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ខ្ពស់របស់ខ្លួនចំពោះពលរដ្ឋភៀសសឹកដែលកំពុងស្នាក់នៅតាមមណ្ឌលសុវត្ថិភាពក្នុងខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ និងខេត្តសៀមរាប។ ជាក់ស្តែង អំណោយមនុស្សធម៌ពីសម្តេចកិត្តិព្រឹទ្ធបណ្ឌិត ប៊ុន រ៉ានី ហ៊ុនសែន ប្រធានកាកបាទក្រហមកម្ពុជា សម្រាប់ ៣,០០០ គ្រួសារ បានទៅដល់ស្រុកអូរជ្រៅ និងស្រុកថ្មពួក កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣ ខែមីនា ដើម្បីសម្រួលជីវភាព។ ស្របគ្នានេះ ឯកឧត្តមឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ប្រាក់ សុខុន រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីការបរទេស និងសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិ និងលោកជំទាវ Louise Mushikiwabo អគ្គលេខាធិការអង្គការអន្តរជាតិហ្វ្រង់កូហ្វូនី (OIF) ក៏បានចុះសួរសុខទុក្ខ និងចែកអំណោយដល់ជនភៀសសឹកក្នុងវត្តធម្មរង្ស៊ី ស្រុកក្រឡាញ់ ខេត្តសៀមរាបផងដែរ ដោយលោកជំទាវ Mushikiwabo បានឃើញផ្ទាល់ភ្នែកពីស្ថានភាពលំបាករបស់ពួកគេ ដែលមិនទាន់អាចវិលត្រឡប់ទៅផ្ទះសម្បែងវិញបាន ដោយសារស្ថានភាពមិនទាន់អំណោយផល និងការរារាំងពីកងកម្លាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធថៃ ។

On March 4, 2026, the Royal Government of Cambodia reaffirmed its sustained high attention to war refugees residing in safety centers in Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap provinces. Notably, humanitarian aid from Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, for 3,000 families reached O’Chrov and Thmar Puok districts on March 3 to alleviate their living conditions. Concurrently, Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), visited and distributed aid to refugees at Wat Thommareangsey in Kralanh district, Siem Reap province. Ms. Mushikiwabo personally witnessed their difficult situation, noting their inability to return home due to unfavorable conditions and obstruction by Thai armed forces.
The Royal Government continues to provide appropriate solutions for the remaining approximately 50,000 refugees, with over 92% of the total 640,000 displaced individuals having already returned home. Simultaneously, Cambodia is actively pursuing diplomatic efforts to promote peaceful resolution of border issues through the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) mechanism, in accordance with international conventions, treaties, and laws, strictly adhering to the spirit of the Joint Declaration of the 3rd Special Meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) on December 27, 2025. The Royal Government Spokesperson reiterated Cambodia’s firm stance on protecting the Cambodia-Thailand international border line inherited from the Indochina-Siam Border Commission, respecting international legal principles, the principle of *Uti Possidetis Juris*, Franco-Siamese conventions and treaties, maps, and demarcation records. Cambodia categorically rejects any border modifications resulting from the use of force.
